Peter Kušnirák ( May 22nd, 1974 in Piešťany ) is a Slovak astronomer and discoverer of asteroids.

He mainly used the Czech observatory Ondřejov.

Between 1999 and 2005 he discovered more than 200 asteroids, of which 85 alone, the rest, together with colleagues, especially with Petr Pravec.
