Peter Lee Lawrence
Peter Lee Lawrence, actually Karl Otto Hyrenbach and Thieme ( * February 21, 1944 in Lindau (Bodensee), † April 20, 1974 in Rome ) was a German actor who was mainly seen in spaghetti westerns.
Life
Lawrence lived with his mother in Nice and was first seen in Fotoromanzi, for which he used the name Pierre Clement. In 1965, he appeared in a supporting role in Sergio Leone's For a Few Dollars more; later, he played the hero roles in the Spanish and Italian Western productions. The early 1970s, he also appeared in horror and crime films. Having been with him a glioblastoma had been diagnosed in 1972, he died on 20 April 1974. He was married to Spanish actress Cristina Galbo since 1969. The couple lived partly in Tahiti, in Zurich and Rome.
In some films, he also appeared under the pseudonym Arthur Grant.
