Peter Marshall (squash player)

Peter Marshall ( born May 12, 1971 in Nottingham ) is an English former squash player.

Career

1994 Marshall was in the final of the Squash World Cup. He lost the match against the Pakistani Jansher Khan. Marshall was three times English national champion ( 1992, 1994 and 2000). In each case the second place, he finished in 1993 with the Super Series Finals in Switzerland and at the 1995 British Open. Its highest ranking in the world ranking was number two. One year became ill after his World Cup final hard Marshall: was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which is why he spent two years unable to play matches. Although there was a comeback and Marshall came in 1999 for the last time in the top ten world ranking, but he could never able to return to his earlier form.

Marshall caught by his backhand technique high attention since he beat them as in tennis with both hands. This technique was very controversial, but was used by Marshall with perfection.
