Peter Pagel

Peter Pagel ( born February 24, 1956 † 12 December 2010) was a German football player.

Career

In 1975, Peter Pagel to Tennis Borussia Berlin. With TeBe Pagel was able to celebrate the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga Nord and thus ascend to the Bundesliga. However, coach Helmuth Johannsen him began only in the game against Westfalia Herne, so that Peter Pagel moved after the season to Spandau BC, where he was a regular player at first.

For the second league season 1980/81 Pagel went to Hertha BSC. There, however, did not he come under Uwe Klimaschefski to the Topstürmern Werner Killmaier (36 season goals) and Thomas Remark past (22 hits). Although Hertha clearly come with 123 goals, the most goals, the club behind Werder Bremen and Eintracht Braunschweig missing out on promotion.

After the engagement at Hertha Peter Pagel moved to FC Homburg. In the Oberliga West Pagel came 21 times to use and helped his club to the championship. Afterwards, however, he returned to Berlin, where he played again at Spandau BC. For the SBC, he scored a total of 290 Goals in official matches in 356 missions, which he is the most prolific players in the club's history.

After that he played for the SC Gatow, Spandau SV and SC Charlottenburg, but which he failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga. Following his playing career Pagel was coach among others Alemannia 90/Wacker.

Private

In addition to his coaching career, he earned his living as a bus driver for the LPP.

On December 12, 2010 Peter Pagel died at the age of 54 years.
