Peter Sallis
Peter Sallis ( born 1 February 1921 in Twickenham, Middlesex ) is an English actor.
Sallis graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1973, he played the role of Norman Clegg in the BBC sitcom Last of the Summer Wine. Since 1947, he was mostly seen in numerous productions for the English television, also lends the Knetgummifigur Sallis Wallace of Wallace & Gromit his voice.
Sallis has been married since 1957. Born in 1959, production designer and art director Crispian Sallis is his son.
