Peter Steiners Theaterstadl

Peter Steiner Theaterstadl, later Steiner Theaterstadl, is a Bavarian folk theater whose plays have been created especially for light entertainment and play mostly in the rural milieu of Upper Bavaria. Today it bears the name of Steiner Theatre - the Bavarian comedy.

Nationwide, it was known by the same television series, which aired on RTL plus from 1992.

History

Peter Steiner Theaterstadl ( barn or barns = barn) was founded as a family business in 1980 by Peter Steiner and opened in Munich in Giesing district in 1983. Since 1985, directs Peter Steiner's daughter Gerda the Theaterstadl.

In 1998, the parent company of Peter Steiner Theaterstadl in Munich- Giesing was closed. Since then, the Theaterstadl touring very successfully through Switzerland, Austria and Germany, it being noted that Gerda Steiner to go in the spring of 2010, after completion of the season and published DVD, announced in a longer break from touring with the barn and then in 2012 will restart.

On December 22, 2008 Peter Steiner died at the age of 81 years in Munich of a heart attack. The Theaterstadl but continued "in his senses." Currently the Theaterstadl plays except seasonal occasionally in Bad Tölz and Bad Wiessee. In addition, as also for years Gerda Steiner Paltzer you see Gerda Steiner and Erna Waßmer, sporadically in the Berchtesgaden country theater.

As of 1992, RTL plus broadcast under the title Peter Steiner Theaterstadl week away. In 1995, the mission of its sister channel Super RTL, where it ran intermittently until the end of 2000, some pieces were repeated in 2005. Now it runs 2 times a week at Sky in the home channel.
