Peter Zeindler

Peter Zeindler ( born February 18, 1934 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist and writer who is best known as an author of detective novels.

Life

Zeindler first attended the teacher training college. He studied German literature and art history at the University of Zurich he graduated with a doctorate; the title of his dissertation at Emil Staiger was the anti-hero in the drama. He worked as a German teacher at the high school as well as a lecturer in German language at the Goethe-Institut. In addition, he worked as a journalist, editor and presenter of radio and television. From 1989 he chaired the literary talk show Bernhard Littéraire in Zurich Bernhard Theater.

He is a member of PEN, the author AdS Association and the Crime Writers' Association syndicate.
