Petr Veselý

Petr Vesely ( born June 7, 1971 in Olomouc) is a former Czech football player.

Club career

Vesely began playing football in Přerov, as A -teenager, he moved to Banik Ostrava. In the 1989/90 season he was the first time in the Squad from Banik, but it was not used. He changed mid-1990 to Spartak Hradec Králové, after one and half years, he returned to Ostrava. From 1996 to 1998 played for Petra Vesely Drnovice, then again for Banik Ostrava. In January 2002, the defender went to the Greek second division AO Patraikos, in September of the same year he was hired by the Slovak Association ŠK Slovan Bratislava. In early 2004 moved Vesely at that fourth division FC Hlučín with which he ascended into the third-class MSFL. There, the FC Hlučín succeeded the walkover in the second league, Vesely was captain of the team. After the 2006/ 07 season the two-time national player ended his professional career. Since the summer of 2007, he plays in the fifth highest Austrian football league at SV Zwentendorf. In the winter transfer season 2007/ 08 he moved to the 2nd class foothills of the Alps to ÖTSU Raiba Steinakirchen.

National

For the Czech national football team Petr Vesely played two games at a distance of just under six years. His debut was a defender on 6 September 1994 at the qualifier for the 1996 European Championships against Malta in Ostrava. Czech Republic won 6-1, Vesely came in the 86th minute for Radoslav Látal on the pitch. It took over five years to Vesely returned to the Czech team. When Carlsberg Cup 2000 in Hong Kong, he played the second half in the game against Mexico, which won the Czechs 2-1.
