Petrovice (Rakovník District)

Petro Vice ( German Petrowitz ) is a municipality in okres Rakovník, Czech Republic. It is located on a hill about eight kilometers southwest of Rakovníka. In the village live on 704 acres of 240 inhabitants. The place belongs to the micro-region Čistá - Senomaty.

History

Petro Vice was created by the Pürglitzer castle captain Petr Holý of Chrást half ways between, belonging to him, deserts and villages Hlivojedy Jezevce in 1519. In 1545 Anne of Vřesovice acquired the festivals and the court Šanov and beat them to Petro Vice. Subsequent owners were Vilém Sviták of country rock and Burian Prostibořský of Vrtbovská. In 1542 Václav bought Dlask of Vchynicko Petrovice with the parties and the Grange Šanov and a half Hostokryje. He expanded the estate nor the villages Václavy and Řeřichy. At the subsequent owners of Petro Vice belonged from 1569 Radslaw Wchinsky of Wchinitz and at the beginning of the 17th century Georg Hrobschitzky of Hrobschitz. Because of their participation in the uprising the estate Petrowitz was confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain in 1623 and sold to John Zeller, followed by Marie Wchinsky of Wchinitz. From 1660 the estate Otto Georg Freiherr von Helversen and then Johann Josef von Waldstein belonged. It was built on the hill south of the village a new church with rectory and school and embarrassed after their completion in 1715, the parish Schanowa after Petrowitz. In the same year Waldstein wrote about the estate of his daughter Maria Anna, Princess of Fürstenberg, who sold it on 13 January 1732 to Georg Olivier of Valais. 1744 inherited the possessions of his son Stephan Olivier of Valais, the united and in 1823 a new school house was capture the good with the rule Koleschowitz. 1832 inherited by his son Rudolf Olivier Count of Wallis possession, he was succeeded in 1838 by his son Friedrich Olivier, Count of Wallis. For Allodialgut Petrowitz the villages Petrowitz, Schanowa, Neuhof ( Nový Dvůr ) Seywedel, Zdiar ( Žďáry ) Příčina, Senetz, Hostokreg ( Hostokryje ) and Nausowa included ( Nouzov ).

In 1843 Petrowitz consisted of 65 houses with 516 inhabitants, including two Jewish families. Under magisterial patron, the parish church of the Visitation, the parish, the school and the bathhouse at the source Heiligenbrunn were. In the village there were authoritarian Royal Castle with the castle chapel to the Archangel Michael and an official apartment, a dominikalen yard, a dominikales brewery, a dominikaler Brann Weishaus with Pottaschensiederei and a retreat house. Away was the little mill. Petrowitz was vicarage for Schanowa, Neuhof, Seywedel, Zdiar, Příčina, Senetz, Nausowa and Röscha. Until the mid-19th century Petrowitz remained the Office of the village connected to the Fideikommissherrschaft Koleschowitz Allodialgutes Petrowitz.
