Phaneroptera nigroantennata

Phaneroptera ( ancient Greek φανερός phaneros " bright ", " apparently ", " swing spring ", " clear ", and ancient Greek πτερόν pteron "wings" ) is a genus of jumping horrors of the subfamily of sickle terror ( Phaneropterinae ).

Features

The animals are green to yellowish green and reddish brown dots. Genus Typical features include a rounded transition of Discus of the pronotum in the Paranota, a thorn on the front hips, an oval tympanum, narrow and rounded at the apex of elytra and the pigmentation of the projecting portion of the alae. The cerci of the males are bent, the ovipositor of the female is sickle-shaped.

Occurrence

The distribution of the genus covers Central and Southern Europe, Africa and Asia.
