For many centuries, were the treasures of the Pharaoh in his grave hidden until the player has encountered the entrance.

In Pharaoh's Curse you must collect from each a treasure in four by four screens. Pro treasure you get an extra life, and it appears at the top in a summary row, what treasures are still missing from the grave. It regularly featured two opponents, the Pharaoh and the mummy, which then track the player. The player should shoot doing this faster than they can do it with the player. The screen also are scattered visible traps that are triggered delayed at regular intervals or when walking over them. Otherwise, there are still key, and thus that open magical barriers, where you can not take a key by an already open barrier. You always have to look for a key in the vicinity of the barrier, therefore. Lastly, there is a flying creature that picks up a touch, transmits through the screens and fall leaves somewhere.

If you collected all the treasures you have to escape even in the start screen. Then you get a Level password and the game starts again at a higher difficulty level.
