Philip Bosco

Philip Michael Bosco ( born September 26, 1930 in Jersey City, New Jersey ) is an American actor.

His father Philip Lupo Bosco was a laborer, his mother Margaret Raymond Thek Bosco a policewoman. Bosco worked as a truck driver and served from 1951 to 1953 in the U.S. Army. He graduated in 1957, the Catholic University of America.

Bosco received the 1957 Theatre Prize Shakespeare Society of Washington DC Award. In the years 1961, 1984, 1987 and 1996, he was nominated for a Tony Award. In 1989, he won a Tony Award for his role in the comedy Lend Me a Tenor by Ken Ludwig. Bosco played in 1988 in the film Working Girl alongside Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith and 1997 in the movie The wedding of my best friend next to Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz.

Bosco is married since 1957 with Nancy Ann Dark, with whom he has seven children.
