Philip Brady (Irish politician)
Philip A. Brady ( * June 10, 1898; † 6 January 1995) was an Irish politician.
Brady worked from 1917 as a pharmacist in Dublin. In 1951 he was elected for Fianna Fáil in the 14th Dáil Éireann. After an electoral defeat of 1954 he succeeded in 1957, the re-entry into the House of Commons, which he now belonged until 1977. At this time, Brady waived then for reasons of age on a bid again. Instead, a candidate, his son Gerard, who was then elected to the 21st Dáil Éireann.
From 1959 to 1960 Philip Brady held the office of the Dublin Lord Mayor (Lord Mayor of Dublin).
