Philip D'Antoni
Philip D' Antoni ( born February 19, 1929 in New York City ) is an American film and television producer.
Life
D' Antoni was initially involved in the 1960s as a television producer in various formats. Followed in 1968 with his first Bullitt Spieilfilm. Three years later focus Brooklyn, for in 1972 he was awarded the Academy Award for Best Picture. He also received a David di Donatello for Best Foreign Film. Up to and including 1976 arose mainly produce various television productions. He then joined only in the 2000s with some documentation in appearance.
In 1973, he was with The Seven - Ups his directorial debut. The film remained his only directorial effort. The main role was played Roy Scheider, the film can be viewed as an attempt to repeat the success of focal Brooklyn.
