Philip Diehl (inventor)

Philip Diehl ( born January 29, 1847 in Dalsheim, † April 7, 1913 in Elizabeth, New Jersey ) was a German - American inventor and engineer.

Life

1868 Diehl immigrated from Germany to the United States. Diehl provided important contributions to the invention of the light bulb in 1882, electric sewing machine motor, the dynamo in 1884 and the ceiling fan in 1887, which he submitted patents in the United States. Diehl was married to Emilie Loos.
