Philip I of Macedon

Philip I (Greek Φίλιππος Α ') was the son of Argaios and was named after this king of Macedon. He reigned about 621-588 BC ( according to older statements 640-602 ).

Contrary to the information of the Junianus Justinus, who reports, Philip would have died very early, bear witness to the ancient king lists a government time between 26 and 39 years. He was succeeded by his son Aeropos.
