Philip Salyer

Philip Salyer ( born October 30, 1981 in Oklahoma City ) is a former American football player.

Career

Association

Salyer played in 2000 and 2001 for the football team of the University of Maryland. Because of its good performances lured him in January 2002 Werder Bremen in Germany. About the reserve team he was supposed to find their way into the professional squad. The breakthrough, however, did not make Salyer. After a year on the river Weser, he decided to return back to America. In 2003 MLS Supplemental Draft, a selection procedure for screening players for the U.S. Professional Football League, FC Dallas is secured on 10 April 2003 the services of the defensive all-rounder. After he came to only a few uses in his first season for Burns, he was able to prevail in the following year after the departure of Tenywa Bonseu, Ryan Suarez and Shavar Thomas. On the right side defender, he had to compete with the Carey Talley. After he was in mid-2005 gewaivt of Dallas, he joined professional club at no further more.

National

Salyer was junior national players of the United States. With it, he took part in Argentina at the Junior World Cup in 2001. The team reached the quarter-finals, but was eliminated by Egypt. Salyer came here in a group match and quarter-final game to use. In the same year, the defensive player has already participated in the tournament of Toulon.
