Philip Saville

Philip Saville (born 28 October 1930 in London, England ) is an English film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. He also works under the name of Philip Savile.

Life and work

Philip Saville began his career as an actor and stage director. At 18, he played his first film role as a driver of a police patrol car in the movie " Penny and the Pownall Case " directed by Slim hand. In the early 1950s he worked for a U.S. television channel, but then returned back to England and played until 1960 another 22 rolls of film.
