Philip Witte

Philip Witte ( born July 29, 1984 in Hamburg ) is a German hockey player.

Philip Witte began when Großflottbeker THGC with the sport of hockey. Since 2007, the striker plays the Uhlenhorster HC, with the Witte 2008 won the Euro Hockey League.

2005 debuted Philip Witte in the German national hockey team. In the same year he was present at the FIH Champions Trophy here where the German team took fourth place. 2006 reached the German team took second place at the Champions Trophy in 2007 succeeded in Kuala Lumpur winning the tournament. In 2008, the team ended the other hand, only the fifth place. Between Witte took part in the 2007 European Championship in part in Manchester, where the team finished fourth. At the Olympic Games in 2008, Witte won by the German team in the final against Spain 1-0 and became Olympic champion.
