Philipp Jakob Riotte ( born August 17, 1776 in St. Wendel, † August 20, 1856 in Vienna ) was a German composer of classical music.

Life

Philipp Jakob Riotte probably comes from a French immigrant family ( Huguenots ). The earliest reports have him as singer boy out in his hometown of St. Wendel. He studied violin, cello and piano, and then Organ.
