Philipp Richardsen

Philipp Richardsen ( May 3, 1976 in Vienna) is an Austrian pianist.

Life

Early piano lessons at the age of five years, followed by studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (1993-2000) Michael Krist and the University of California, Santa Barbara (2004-2007) at the Canadian pianist and Microsoft MVP Paul Berkowitz. He graduated beyond the first degree examination in law ( candidatus iuris ) at the University of Vienna and courses in business administration at Santa Monica College ( California). His dissertation dealt with the theme of the late piano works of Franz Liszt and their anticipation of musical ideas of the 20th century ( The Late Piano Works of Franz Liszt And Their Anticipation of Musical Ideas of The Twentieth Century, ISBN 978-0-549-15238-5 ).

Living in South Korea since 2007, Richardsen 2008 was appointed professor of piano at the Mokwon University in Daejeon and was also. Been teaching at Kookmin University and Yonsei University, both in Seoul, active Winners of international piano competitions (International Liszt Competition Los Angeles, Palma d' oro, Concours Grieg and others) and frequent guest in the Korean television, he is since 2011 regular guest speaker and coach for young managers at the Samsung Group. Concert appearances include New York's Carnegie Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts and the Sydney Opera House.
