Philipp Walsleben
Philipp Walsleben (born 19 November 1987 in Potsdam ) is a German racing cyclist. He currently lives in Kleinmachnow.
He achieved his greatest successes in his specialist discipline Cyclocross. He was seven times German Cross Country champion, four times in the cyclist # Male classes, one time at the U23 and two times in the juniors. In the 2008/2009 season, he was at the U23 only European and later world champion.
According to its specialization Walsleben moves into cycling teams, the main focus involved in cyclocross. Since 2009, he drives for the Belgian team BKCP - Powerplus. With this team, he was able to achieve success in road cycling. He won among others 2013 a section and the Appreciation of the international stage race Baltic Chain Tour.
The 2013/14 season is Walslebens most successful cross-country season. Several times he was able to finish on the podium and then be asserted in the overall ranking in the top three in the World Cup. In addition, he was the fourth time German champion in the elite.
