Philippe Houvion

Philippe Houvion ( born October 5, 1957 in Briey ) is a retired French pole vaulter.

In 1978 he was eighth at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Milan and sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Prague. The following year saw a seventh place finish at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna at the Universiade silver and gold at the Mediterranean Games.

At the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, he came to fourth place.

In 1981 he was. At the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble sixth, at the 1984 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg Roller and 1986 at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in sixth

In 1978 and 1979 he was champion of France.
