PHP-Fusion

PHP-Fusion version 7 is a licensed under AGPL (old versions were under the GPL), continuously developed free content management system based on PHP and uses MySQL as the database. The current version includes, among others, a news and article management, forums, shoutbox, and survey options. They started the project by Nick Jones, who published the first version on April 12, 2003.

Requirements

For the proper use of PHP-Fusion is a web server with Apache and PHP 1.3x/2.x requires 4 ( 4.1.0 or later). Since PHP-Fusion v7.00.06 PHP 5.3 is also supported. To use the Photo Gallery GD library must be installed. The later users do not need any in-depth knowledge, as the WYSIWYG editor TinyMCE is integrated and BB codes can be used.

Version 6

The latest version of v6er series of CMS is the v6.01.19. Version 6 was replaced by the version 7. No further updates except any security updates are provided more for the v6. Since the final version of v7.01 on August 1, 2010 v6er series of CMS is no longer supported by the British development team.

Version 7

PHP-Fusion v7 version is available since 11 August 2008 in the Final. This was followed with 7:01 (1 August 2010) and 7:02 ( 19 April 2011) two further developments.

Security

Due to the increasing popularity of PHP-Fusion CMS system has been a popular target for attacks. The case emerged attack types were limited so far to SQL injection and XSS attacks. Criticism

On the technical side, PHP-Fusion some shortcomings. In part, lack of comments in the source code as well as a lack of tutorial, but this was already made ​​up on the Official German support site.
