Phra Pok Klao Bridge

The Phra - Pokklao Bridge ( Rama VII Bridge also, Thai สะพาน พระ ปกเกล้า ) is a bridge over the Chao Phraya River, connecting the districts Phra Nakhon and Thonburi in Bangkok, capital of Thailand. It was created as a bridge for the relief Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge.

The bridge consists of three three-lane viaducts, of which only the outer used. The average viaduct is planned for future mass transit. The total length of the bridge is 745 meters, which spans the three arches be 56, 100 and 56 meters. The clearance height is 8.9 meters.

The construction of the Phra Pokklao Bridge was opened on 11 November 1981, the official opening took place on 3 December 1984.
