Physiological Reviews

Physiological Reviews, abbreviated Physiol. Rev. is a scientific journal published by the American Physiological Society. The first issue appeared in January 1921. Currently, four issues per year are published. The journal publishes review articles from different areas of physiology and biomedical sciences. Addressees are physiologists, neuroscientists, cell biologists, biophysicists, and clinicians with a special interest in the pathophysiology. Expenditures that are older than 12 months and younger than 1997 are available for free online.
