Piaggio P.10

The Piaggio P.10 was a reconnaissance aircraft of the Italian manufacturer Piaggio Aero Industries.

History and construction

The P.10 was a einstieliges, braced biplane seaplane, which was equipped with a main float under the fuselage and two auxiliary floats under the wings. The machine is designed to operate with the help of an aircraft catapult of Italian battleships and cruisers from can. The aircraft was powered by a 328 kW, license-built Bristol Jupiter VI radial engine. She had three open cockpits, one before the wings for the pilot, the other two for the gunners and observers were behind the wings. A variant with fixed landing gear was P.10bis.
