PICMG 1.3

PICMG 1.3 is a PICMG specification, which is also known as SHB Express. SHB Express is an evolution of the older PICMG 1.0 standard for Slot - CPU systems. SHB - or System Host Board - Express uses the same physical form factor as PICMG 1.0, the interface from the board to the backplane, however PCI Express instead of PCI or ISA. Optionally, a PCI interface can also be used in SHB Express further.
