Pierre Cao

Pierre Cao ( born December 22, 1937 in Dudelange) is a Luxembourg musician, conductor and composer.

Pierre Cao studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, composition and conducting. Focus of his work is the training of future conductors.

He was until 1998 a lecturer in choral conducting at the Luxembourg Conservatory of Music and was moreover in Europe numerous master classes for advanced students. He headed various vocal ensembles in Luxembourg and surroundings and is co-founder of INECC ( Institut Européen du Chant Choral ).

He has earned an international reputation through recordings and the line of several choirs, ensembles and orchestras.

Since 2006, Pierre Cao artistic director of the " Arsys Choir " and the " Rencontres Musicales de Vézelay " in France.
