Pierre Edmond Boissier ( born May 25, 1810 in Geneva, † September 25, 1885 in Valeyres -sous- Rances ) was a Swiss botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Boiss. ".

The plant genus Boissiera Hochst. ex Steud. from the family of grasses ( Poaceae ) and the magazine Boissiera are named after him.
