Pierre Émile Levasseur

Pierre Émile Levasseur ( born December 8, 1828 in Paris, † July 10, 1911 in Paris) was a French historian, economist and geographer.

Life and work

In 1868 he was elected a member of the Académie des sciences morales et politiques. In 1871 he became the successor of Henri Baudrillart at the Collège de France in the chair of political economy.
