Pieter Feith

Pieter Feith ( born February 9, 1945 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch diplomat and since 2008 International Civilian Representative in Kosovo ( International Civilian Representative for Kosovo). From 2008 to 2011 he was also Special Representative of the European Union in Kosovo.

Life

Pieter Feith studied political science at the University of Lausanne. In addition, he is a graduate (1970 ) of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Medford (Massachusetts ).

Criticism

The situation in western Sudan, in the Darfur region, was assessed on 9 August 2004 by Pieter Feith, the deputy director of foreign and security issues of European Union in Brussels was at that time, after his trip to Sudan as follows: "We there do not have the situation of genocide ".
