Pilgrim (film)

Hunting a Nameless is a Canadian -British- Mexican thriller from Harley Cokeliss from the year 2000.

Action

Jack is found in the desert of New Mexico, he can not remember anything more. Later he remembers that he was being followed. As he goes through the desert, he meets the painter Vicky before he faints.

Vicky helps Jack, soon to be a left behind at a gas station purse is reproduced. According to documents found in it is his name " Jack Coney " and he works as a private investigator. Under the address found in a hotel there is a corpse.

Jack notes that the documents were forged. He is chased by the mafia, but can prevail and kill the Mafia boss taken in the desert. He and Vicky drive off with the car.

Reviews

  • Ryan Cracknell praised in Apollo Movie Guide, the Director and the use of color filters. The portrayal of Ray Liotta was acceptable, even though it was not his best representation. The film offers no surprises, he thematize the search for their own identity.
  • Almar Haflidason praised in his criticism of the BBC that the thriller " compact " and that itself contains the film connoisseurs surprises. The portrayal of Ray Liotta was subtle.
  • Prism criticized the " beaten path ", but writes that the thriller is exciting.

Awards

The film was nominated in 2001 for the sound editor for a Golden Reel Award.
