Policy
Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on July 15, 1994 by the Thuringian State Office of Administration.
Blazon: " Argent, a rotbordierten main shield, which is cleaved by a red pole and topped with two red St. Andrew's crosses, on a green sign foot a black, left -border boar with golden arms. "
The boar goes back to the run up to 1952 Seal and symbolizes the rich wildlife area; the green sign foot symbolizes the wooded surroundings of the place. The bordierte main shield shows a typical half-timbered in the community; the two St. Andrew's crosses stand for the two districts.
The coat of arms was designed by the Goßwitzer Manfred Fischer.
