Finik is an archaeological site in eastern Turkey. It lies on the north bank of the Tigris, about 20 km northeast of Cizre in Sirnak province. In ancient times it was called Pinaka ( Strabo, Geographica 11, 747 ) or Phaenicha ( Ammianus Marcellinus ) and was part of the Gordiene. The village Damlarca, near the ruins, was in 1928 still Finikirevi.
