Pingus

Pingus is a by Ingo Ruhnke developed, free clone of the computer game Lemmings, which was licensed under the GNU General Public License.

History

Pingus was released in 1998 as a game for Linux. The earlier versions were based on the ClanLib library in version 0.7.0 (August 2007) was changed to SDL. Since version 0.7.2 the game for Windows is available. The version 0.7.6 has been ported to Mac OS X.

Gameplay

The aim of Pingus is, from a starting point of the level to lead a group of small penguins in a prescribed time to the exit.
