Pinnsee

The Pinnsee there is a lake east of Mölln in the district of Lauenburg. It is a remnant of the last ice age in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park.

The approximately 2.5 -acre lake is located in a valley floor and is accessible on foot or by bicycle. The lake is surrounded by forest, on its eastern shore, a small beach has been created. Along the lake, there are more beaches. Due to its location in the valley he warms up well, the water is very clear.

The lake is up to nine feet deep. It belongs to the larger part of the city Mölln. The north-eastern area with the large swimming area is owned by the Duchy of Lauenburg. Fishing, diving, boating, etc. are prohibited.

Above the swimming area there is an old hunting lodge, which uses the DLRG Mölln as a guard house.
