Piri Weepu

Piri Weepu Awahou Tihou (born 7 September 1983) is a New Zealand rugby union player at the position of scrum half. He plays for the All Blacks on international level, Wellington Lions in the Air New Zealand Cup and for the Hurricanes in the Super 14

2004 Weepu received the honor of playing for the All Blacks against Wales for the first time. In 2005 he was recalled to the squad of the All Blacks to play in the first Tri Nations game against the South African Springboks, although he had not been previously against the British and Irish Lions in the squad.

He played club rugby with Hutt Old Boys, under the wing of his mentor DB ( Lower Hutt Rugby legend Derek Bruce ), he also went to the Te Aute College.
