Piribebuy ( Guaraní Pirĩvevui ) is a small town of about 21,800 inhabitants in total (as of 2006) and a district ( distrito ) in the department of Cordillera in Paraguay ( South America).

Piribebuy was founded in 1636 by Martin Ledesma de Valderrama. Since during the Triple Alliance War burned the founding documents, March 8, 1636 was set as the foundation day later.

The town is divided Piribebuy next to the center in the districts of Santa Ana, San Blas, Maria Auxilliadora and Virgen de Rosario. It is known for its church Piribebuy Dulce Nombre de Jesus.
