Pirinsko pivo

Pirinsko pivo ( colloquially often пиво only Pirinsko, Bulgarian Пиринско ) is a Bulgarian beer brand.

History

The Pirinsko Brewery was founded in 1971 in Blagoevgrad. The brewery, since 2002 the Carlsberg Group and, together with the Shumensko brewery Carlsberg Bulgaria in the town of Shumen, a company with 580 employees and a market share of 27 %. The brewery was named after the Pirin Mountain, from whose sources the brewery relates the water. The Pirinsko Brewery is the sponsor of the football club Pirin Blagoevgrad.

Varieties

Offered are a bright Pils (market share of 8%), and most recently a slightly stronger dark beer.
