Pius Ncube

Pius Alick Mvundla Ncube (born 31 December 1946 in Filabusi, Südmatabeleland, Zimbabwe ) is retired Archbishop of Bulawayo.

Life

Pius Alick Ncube Mvundla received on 26 August 1973, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 24 October 1997 as Archbishop of Bulawayo. He received his episcopal consecration of the Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, Cardinal Jozef Tomko, on January 25, 1998; Co-consecrators were the Ernst Heinrich Karlen CMM, emeritus Archbishop of Bulawayo, and Peter Paul Prabhu, Apostolic Nuncio to Zimbabwe.

From his office he resigned on 11 September 2007.
