Piz Martegnas

The Piz Martegnas is a mountain southwest of Savognin in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 2,670, 4 m above sea level. M. It is developed by the Savognin mountain railways with a chairlift and is the second highest mountain in the ski resort.

Location

The Piz Piz Curvér Martegnas belongs to the group, a subgroup of the above Kamnik Alps. About the Summit, the municipal boundary between Salouf and Riom- Parsonz runs.

Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Toissa, the Piz Arlo, the Piz Arblatsch, the Piz Forbesch, the Piz Mez, the Piz Cartas and the Piz Curvér.

On the northeast flank and on the southern flank of Piz Martegnas is the Savognin ski area.

Valley is a Savognin, Riom and Parsonz. Common starting points are Somtgant ( accessible by train ) and radon ( by car ).

About the northwest slope

  • Starting point: Parking Cre digl Lai ( 1,780 m) or Salouf ( 1'258 m)
  • Route: Alp Foppa, Val Cumegna then on the northwest slope
