The Piz Forbesch (Romansh, in the idiom Surmiran for scissors ) is a mountain west of Mulegns in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 3'261, 8 m above sea level. M. Thanks to the deep col between the Piz Forbesch and the Forbesch Pintg ( 3'202 m ) in the south, the mountain gets the shape of a pair of scissors and is easy to identify. Thanks to its dominance it offers, especially towards the west, an extraordinary long-distance views of the Bernese and Valais Alps (Monk, Dufour tip or 149.5 km away White Horn ).

Location

The Piz Forbesch is the highest peak of the Forbesch - Arblatsch massif, a subset of the above Kamnik Alps. About the Summit, the municipal boundary between Riom- Parsonz and Mulegns runs.

Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Arblatsch, the Piz Platta, the Forbesch Pintg, the Piz Piz Mez and Cagniel.

Valley location is Mulegns. Common starting points are radon and Tga.
