The Piz Calderas (Romansh in the idiom Surmiran for boilers, pool, cirque, cirque ) is a mountain north-east of Sur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with an altitude of 3'397 m. He is the highest elevation of above stone.

Location

The Piz Calderas belongs to the Calderas group in the Err field, which in turn belongs to the Albula Alps. About the Summit, the municipal boundary between Sur and Bever runs. The Piz Calderas is bordered to the east by the Val Bever and to the west by the stone above.

To the direct neighboring peaks of Piz Calderas are in the north of Piz d' Err, in the northeast of Piz Jenatsch, in the south of Piz Picuogl and Tschima as Flix and in the west of the Piz Cucarnegl.

The Piz Calderas has two glaciers. In the north, this is the Vadret d' Err and south of the Vadret Calderas is.

Valley is a Sur and Bever. The starting points are the Chamanna Jenatsch and Spina in the east, the Alp Flix in Sur in the west and the Julier Pass in the south.
