The Piz Kesh is 3'418 m above sea level. M. the highest mountain in the Albula Alps and the community Berguen in Switzerland. In the South possesses neighboring Engadin called the Piz d'Es -cha. With a saddle height of more than 1500 meters of Piz Kesh is one of the so -called ultra prominent peaks.

The easiest ascent is from the Keschhütte ( 2,625 m above sea level. M. ). As you climb you will initially run over a glacier to about 200 meters below the summit. At point 3008, Porta d'Es - cha, joins previously nor the route of the Es-cha hut to do so. The summit climb is in winter with crampons and ice ax. In front of the main summit is the east Keschnadel with 3'386 m above sea level. M.

The Keschhütte is accessible from Berguen from or via Sertigpass from Sertig in Davos. The longest access is coming from the Engadine side, of S -chanf. A multi-day hike called Kesh Trek and leads from Dischma via Scalettapass from north to Kesh Hut. It combines the Keschhütte with the Es-cha hut and thus both cabins on the Piz Kesh.
