Placar

Placar ( German: " scoreboard " ) is one of the most important Brazilian sports magazines. The first issue appeared in March 1970. Primary focus of the journal is football. Originally published weekly magazine is published monthly these days. The publisher is the publisher Grupo Abril large.

Since 1973 Placar awards every year the Bola de Ouro ( " Golden Ball "), a ceremony equivalent to the an award for player of the year in other countries. Placar awards after each round of the Brazilian first division, the Série A evaluations for each player and the prize will be awarded at the end of the season to the player the best overall score. This is the variety of playing abroad Brazilian professionals, including almost all national players, not in the standings.
