Plantibody

Plantibody is a portmanteau of plant ( plant) and antibody (antibodies). He describes the technique that mammalian antibodies are produced in genetically modified plants. The aim here is to plant systems more efficient and cheaper to use than cultures of mammalian cells. The antibodies thus obtained can be used among other things for immunochemical evidence such as ELISA.
