Plateau Rosa

The Plateau Rosa is a glacier field on the Swiss- Italian border near Zermatt. It is 3480 m and is part of Theodulgletscher, which represents a part of the ski area of Zermatt. The Plateau Rosa is accessible from Breuil -Cervinia, which is located in Italy, with a cable car over the station Testa Grigia the Theodulpass. From Zermatt to reach the Plateau Rosa via dry dock with either the air Klein Matterhorn cable car or the ski tow Gandegg.
