Playhouse Disney

Playhouse Disney was in Germany so far, the first television channel for children aged up to six years. He started broadcasting on 10 November 2004 in the pay-TV offering from cable Germany and via satellite since September 13, 2007 on the pay-TV package Sky World ( formerly Premiere Star ) and sent daily from 6:00 bis 20:00 clock. The program should be based on the needs of preschool children and playful promote the development of children. The program was non-violent and free of advertising. Playhouse Disney there is, except in Germany and in Great Britain, the USA and France. The broadcasting license was applied for by The Walt Disney Company and issued by the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting in October 2004.

18 April 2011 it was announced that Playhouse Disney, will now be replaced in Germany by Disney Junior. The conversion, in the U.S. began in early February 2011, was completed in Germany on July 14, 2011 .. From 7 July to Sendeschluss, ran a countdown that has the first broadcast by Disney Junior displayed. 14 July 2011 at 13.30 clock the Playhouse Disney was replaced by Disney Junior. The last shipment sent in the Playhouse Disney was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Space movie. The first broadcast on Disney Junior was Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
