The Plenty River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Victoria, and a tributary of the Yarra River. It rises on the wooded slopes of Mount Disappointment, flows through the small Toorourrong reservoir to the south and feeds the first major reservoir of water supplies of Melbourne, the Yan Yean Reservoir. From there he sets his running away to the south and flows at Heidelberg in the north- east of Melbourne in the Yarra River.

The Plenty River Trail is a hiking trail along the lower reaches of the river.
